collage

This is a decade collage of the 1970's with different pictures having to do with the 70's. My favorite part of the project was gathering all the pictures and putting them together in a collage format. I wish I would have blendid them together better. But I did learn how to blend most of them.

cartoon

A cartoon I designed from scratch in illustrator; I outlined it then colored it in photoshop. I added shading and highlighting to make it a more dramatic and more life like. My favorite part was adding color to it; it really made a difference, and it is way better looking in color. I wish I would have put more detail on it and highlighted more things. I learned how to use illustrator, and it might just come in handy some day.

My Photo

This photo took a lot of planning and different kinds of techniques. I had to find a background, a picture of me doing something and put it all together using different styles and layers and also added lighting affects, shadows, and textures. I really enjoyed finding a picture of myself and creating a cool picture with myself as a prop! I should have added more textures and more colored lights for the background; but overall I learned how to use lots of different layers and shadows and cool lighting effects.

Story

This picture also took a lot of planning, and it took a lot of preparing. I took pictures of myself doing something that made a story. I put the pictures in a slide show from start to finish and created a story. Drop shadows and text was added to make it look nicer and easier to read the story. My favorite part was taking the pictures and putting together a story of me doing something. I wish I would have put the slides in a straighter line, like a real slide show. I learned how to cut out shapes and place pictures in them and I will use that in the future.

Business Cards

This project was the most time consuming because it took lots of layers, lots of affects and text. I used a different picture for each card that matched the theme of my business. Each card with a picture has a different color and different affect to it. My favorite part was adding affects and colors to the pictures to make them different and doing the same with the text. I wish I would have toned down the pictures a little bit and not made them so bold and noticeable. I'm glad I learned how to change the opacity of pictures and blend them more.
